Trenching
You can see the water already flowing in where the crew jack hammered down to put the Waterguard in. The Waterguard will collect all this water.
Sump pump
The Sump is placed in a deep hole at the low point in the basement, so that it can work the most efficiently.

Waterguard and extra piping buried underneath the basement floor.
Laying down drain pipe
This basement was a special case where it needed Waterguard and extra drain pipe put in.
Discharge Line
The water is taken out of the basement through the discharge line coming out of the sump pump.
