Jacob started working at the young age of fourteen, he worked for a local contractor digging out crawlspaces. In 2011, he was introduced to the unique and innovative products offered by John's Waterproofing and he joined the team on an installation crew. As his knowledge and extensive understanding of our products grew, he quickly worked his way up to being an inspector.
As a System design Specialist, Jacob brings a professional, focused, and intelligent approach to each job he is involved with, his goal is to create the proper system to combat a homes water issues the first time around. Jacob has been thoroughly trained and has earned the highly esteemed title "Certified Waterproofing Professional", through the Basement Systems International Waterproofing Contractor Network.
Jacob's attention to detail and understanding of how the systems function gives him a unique edge to create perfectly designed systems. In his years in the industry, he has seen it all and has the pictures to prove it. Jacob is looked to within our office for questions related to challenging crawlspace situations and he is always willing to help his co-workers or answer questions for customers.
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys spending time with his two young kids and wife on their fifty acre farm in Lacomb. Getting to watch his kids grow up surrounded by nature is exciting and gratifying. His wife runs and operates a horse boarding stable on their property where they care for their purebred Canadian horses. They have also dedicated twenty of their acres to creating a Hazelnut Orchard, Fruit Orchard, and native flora restoration project.
