Matt Shutt

Before working for John's Waterproofing, Matt had been working as a manager for a local landscaping company. When he started here, he was hired on for the production team, where he quickly was promoted to be a service technician. Through his hard work, in 2019 he won our Service Tech of the year award. 

Matt has since earned special training as a peer support mentor and enjoys getting to provide relief to clients through the many benefits our waterproofing systems. Matts favorite part of working for John's Waterproofing is the freedom of self determinant; he gets to design the systems that can repair and improve peoples homes, and he gets to personally work with people until they are fully satisfied with the work and service we have provided. He has also moved to being one of our certified Radon Measurement Professionals. This entailed extensive Radon training in both radon testing and mitigation. He is proud to bring healthy homes across the PNW. 

In his free time, Matt enjoys camping and fishing. He is an avid, and well ranked, chess player. He also enjoys spending time with his family.
