THE IMPORTANCE OF ANNUAL MAINTENANCE

This inspection was like so many others. The vapor barrier is crumpled, wet, and caked in mud that you can tell was the results of long-standing puddles in the crawlspace. Not only that but the 58% relative humidity has led to mold growth on top of the vapor barrier.  This crawlspace has a low-point drain but it is so full of mud and water that it is now completely useless as a drain. This will continue to be an issue until their water issue is addressed. 

In order to handle this issue, the crews will first remove the old vapor barrier and falling insulation. Once completed our team places a Sani-Dry install a full perimeter drainage system as well as a sump pump. This will make sure that the water in the crawlspace is being addressed. Once the drainage is completed our team then replaces the vapor barrier so that the space is dry and clean.
