Photo Album: Moisture in the crawlspace; Portland, OR
This homeowner contacted us because their upstairs bathroom had mold growing in the walls. The moisture was coming from the basement and partial dirt crawlspace. They knew they wanted to seal their crawlspace up with a proper drainage system and dig some of the dirt out to give more room. Our crew dug out a portion of their crawlspace and installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that encapsulated the space. We also installed our SaniDry XP dehumidifier to help eliminate the moisture coming from the crawl space and basement. This homeowner was relieved to have their space properly sealed and the steps to prevent further moisture problems occurring thru out their home.
CleanSpace
When we do an encapsulation the space is completely sealed even at the posts. We make sure the post is isolated so the vapor barrier wont move or tear away from the post.
SaniDry XP
The SaniDry XP is our biggest dehumidifier, it removed reduces odor and mold growth for crawl spaces and basements.
Dirt Crawlspace
This space was just dirt without a proper vapor barrier. The moisture was coming up from the ground and traveling into the house where the mold started to grow.
Smart Drain
Our smart drain is part of the dehumidifier to properly pump out the condensation so it doesn't stay under the house. It also has a WaterWatch alarm that will sound when plumping leaks may occur.
