A customer of ours in Hood River, Oregon had high humidity in her crawl space. High humidity is a breeding ground for bacteria growth, allergens, and mold spores. None of which are good for the health of your crawl space nor the for the air coming into your home that you are breathing. She had done some research on the benefits of encapsulation and knew this would fix these issues for years.
We were happy to help. John's Waterproofing has been encapsulating basements and crawl spaces since 1974 and are accredited with the American Lung Association. We are very aware of how important it is to breathe clean air.
In a short time the crew we sent out installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier which takes the moisture out of the air. They did some repairs to some of the support posts that were already showing signs of moisture damage. A SmartDrain was put in and those alert the homeowner to plumbing leaks with an alarm. CleanSpace vapor barrier was used to encapsulate the crawl space, Spray Foam was installed and now our customer has a dry crawl space and will stay dry, mold spore and allergen-free for a very long time.
