Photo Album: Upgrading the Crawlspace to Meet the Homes Needs - Portland, OR
When a home is sold, it has to meet local guidelines. This home checked all of the local homes needs, but the homeowners learned after living here for a year, that the crawlspace needed more than what was required. Its installed system was flooding, torn, and had mold spores in the old fiberglass, which had lead to some moldy and rotting wooden posts. We came in, cleared out the space, and did a full encapsulation. This included SmartJacks to replace the rotting wooden posts, an upgraded sump pump for their drain system. We then installed TerraBlock insulation, CleanSpace, SaniDry dehumidifier, and air sealed the crawlspace.
