Photo Album: Large Water Issue in Vancouver, WA Crawlspace
This crawlspace had an ongoing water issue for a while. The space was difficult to enter, so it was not at the forefront of the owners mind. When they did finally get under their home, they found water had tunneled its way into the crawlspace, successfully making its own paths to travel through the space. This had lead to falling fiberglass insulation, as well as a general muddy mess. The homeowners took pride in their home, and were ready for a healthy home, so they called John's Waterproofing. We installed a new EverLast entryway and installed a full crawlspace encapsulation to make this space dry and healthy!
Large Water Entrance
Large pieces of the foundation had water pressure pushing against it, causing waterways to take over
Crawlspace Mess
Insulation was drooping, and the overall space was a mess, leading to damp and musty odors
Sump Pump
A sump pump was placed in the lowest spot to have all groundwater directed to it from a newly installed drainage system
CleanSpace
CleanSpace was used as the vapor barrier, giving a 20 Mil woven barrier that is inserted under each wooden post, anchored along the walls, and fully secured in place
Insulation
Spray Foam insulation is used to properly insulate the space!
