Photo Album: Plumbing and Encapsulation in Silverton, OR
This homeowner had old fiberglass falling in pieces, a leaking plumbing pipe, and mud caked on the vapor barrier. They knew they would need professional help and called up John's Waterproofing to solve their plumbing and crawlspace issues. To begin we went out our plumbers, who fixed the plumbing leak. We were then able to assess the crawlspace properly. They were very impressed with our plumbing division and were ready to invest in a full encapsulation. This included clearing the space, installing a drainage system with a sump pump, crawlspace specific insulation, a 20 Mil woven vapor barrier, and a SaniDry dehumifier.
Falling Insulation
Fiberglass isn't made to be open to the elements, it absorbs moisture and falls apart from water weight and causes mold.
Sump Pump
This sump pump will collect water from the crawlspace and send it out and away from the homes foundation.
Damage in the Crawlspace
This home had evidence of critters and old home-related issues present.
Wrapped in CleanSpace
Each wooden post is lifted up to have CleanSpace slid under, keeping the wood away from water and moisture.
