Photo Album: Crawlspace Repairs for Mount Hood Parkdale, OR
This homes crawlspace had been done by another company. A Sump Pump and vapor barrier had been installed and the fiberglass was sealed into plastic to keep it away from moisture. The issues though were the Sump Pump couldn't keep up with the water the home had and would overflow. Water got into the vapor barrier and mud was brought onto the barrier. The plastic over the fiberglass also had ripped and moisture had crept in and the fiberglass was absorbing this, trapping moisture in the fiberglass instead of keeping it out. The homeowners knew something better was out there and called up John's Waterproofing to hear about encapsulation.
