This home was over a hundred years old, and the basement needed some work. While standing water wasn't evident, there was efflorescence on the hillside of the home and this meant water was still finding a way though, even if only minimally. To address this concern, they called up John's Waterproofing to selected a partial basement waterproofing system.

Signs of Water

The white deposits on the walls is efflorescence from minerals being pushed through the foundation with water

Installing Drainage

We dug a trench along the foundation walls, this will house a WaterGuard drainage system to guide water to a sump pump

Drainage Line

A bed of gravel is laid in with WaterGuard installed to grade the water to a low point

Wall System

A CleanSpace Wall system is installed on the walls to guide water down the walls into the new drainage system

TripleSafe Sump Pump

The new TripleSafe sump pump will push all of the collected water safely away from the home
