Photo Album: Leaking Finished Basement - Portland, OR

This homes finished basement had water leaking in where the wall joins the floor. They knew the problem was worse on the south side of the house, and significant water would appear during heavy rains. They wanted to keep using this space, but knew it would need waterproofing. They called up John's to get their inspection and signed up for us to waterproof and re-finish the space.

Moldy Baseboards

The homes baseboards had warped beyond saving and the homeowners had removed this on their own.

Partial Dry Wall Removal

Where the water issue was the worst, the lower sections of the wall was removed by the homeowner to try to stop the damage.

Drainage System

A full interior drainage system was installed to collect groundwater and grade it to the lowest point where a TripleSafe sump pump will direct it away from the home.
