Photo Album: Addressing the Homes Needs in Portland, OR
This homeowner had called to learn about encapsulation. Their crawl space had a nasty pest issue and their home smelled bad because of what was drafting up from under their home. During the in-home inspection, the design specialist also mentioned radon testing, and left behind a simple charcoal test kit, letting the homeowners know it would be a simple add on to have a radon mitigation system added into their encapsualtion. The homeowners did the charcoal test, sent the results off to the third party company and low and behold, high levels. They decided to mitigate when the encapsulated.
