Challenge

The customer's house was surrounded by land higher than the foundation, creating a moat effect. They had had the joist recently repaired, but in the process, the contractors dug out a rather large trench. So the rainwater would drain directly into their crawlspace. 

Solution

Tyler and his crew made sure to clean out the trench and start the filling of it. They used compact crushed rocks for the water to filter into. The downspout was also needing repairs due to heavy rain, and it running into the crawl space through the vents. Along with installing a TrenchDrain to help give the water somewhere else to go other than their crawlspace. Leaving the customer with a dry crawl space and knowledge on how to ensure that the systems will last a very long time.
