Preparing the Basement
Our team went in and set to work on redoing this basement. We began by removing the wet insulation from the ceiling.
Cracked foundation wall
This wall has large horizontal cracks that are crumbling the foundation and continuing to spread.
Pouring the base for the power braces
After digging and measuring these post holes, we reinforce the power braces deep into the ground and then cemented in place.
Finishing the walls with Thermal Dry
After the braces were completed, the walls were covered with Thermal Dry wall material. This will ensure that the basement stays dry and provides a waterproof barrier for when the walls are finished.
Post holes dug
These two foot deep holes are now prepped and ready for concrete to create a powerful base for the power braces that now anchor this foundation wall.
Cement in place
Post holes are now set and drying
Finished walls
This basement is now reinforced and completely waterproof with a transferrable 25 year warranty!
Before braces
The moisture coming into this basement has created sagging insulation, cracked walls, and a cold damp unusable space.
Education by the Production Manager
Our production manager Jake is on site ensuring that these braces are installed properly and new employees are onsight learning how to properly install power braces and foundational reinforcement.
Foundation holes are deep to keep the wall secure for a life time.
These holes are two feet deep in the ground and then set in concrete.
Holes are prepped and ready for braces.
These braces are spaced a foot apart to ensure the security of the wall.
Braces in place
These braces are now ready for the cement and will protect this house for decades to come.
