Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Crawlspace infiltrated by rodents and moisture, Portland, OR

Matt was having some rodent and moisture issues in his crawl space and knew this needed to be taken care of. He came across John's Waterproofing on the internet and decided to give us a call for a free inspection. We scheduled Matt for an appointment with Vinny, one of our amazing inspectors, who was out to his house to take a look. He found water in the crawl space along with high rodent activity. Vinny suggested doing a full encapsulation of the crawl space.  Matt agreed, encapsulating the entire area was the way to go. So Matt was scheduled for encapsulation and that's when Foreman Jeremy and his team went to work. Starting with cleaning the crawl space out and removing all of the old material and mess that had built up, including the insulation. A SaniDry dehumidifier was installed, along with a Smart Sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, Spray Foam insulation, and new vent covers at the outside entrance.  This great waterproofing combination keeps the rodents out, the clean air in and will continue to do so for many many years.
