Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Paint Cracking Under the Pressure - Albany, OR
This homes basement had an old sump pump that, while it kept flooding from happening, it wasn't protecting the home against the water pressure. This pressure continued to push against the homes foundation, and the walls had been painted, and were cracking. They knew this meant water would begin to come through along the foundation walls, so they were ready for a solution that treated the entirety of their homes water issues, not just what the sump pump collected. To address the homes needs we installed a drainage system with a new sump pump and ThermalDry radiant vapor barrier along the walls so the homeowners would be able to finish the space when they wanted to down the road.
