Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Issue Discovered During Basement Renovations - Portland, OR

This homes basement had been finished a while back. No major issues had been seen that dealt with water, until recently. While working on a basement remodel, they discovered water issues had been slowly occurring under the old flooring and behind the drywall. While not a flood of water, the damage was noticeable. To ensure their basement project would be protected, they paused the renovation to have a full waterproofing system installed before they continued.

A full interior perimeter drainage system would be installed to collect and grade the water to a sump pump

The sump pump will send all collected water out and away from the homes foundation

To insulate the walls before finishing we installed out ThermalDry Radiant Vapor Barrier

Prepared for Finished

The walls were then prepped to be finished, the ThermalDry acting as a protective barrier for the finished system
