Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing and Re-Finishing in Portland, OR

This homes finished basement had water coming in by the basement windows and along the seam where the foundation walls met the floor. The carpet was damp and the baseboards were squishy. To get the space properly addressed we would have to removed the damage, fully waterproof the space, and then our finishing crew would go back in to install paint ready drywall and reinstall the carpeting that could be saved.

Installing a Full WaterGuard drain system

A full interior WaterGuard drain system was installed to provide a route for groundwater to travel to a new sump pump to be dealt with

Wall System

Since the space will be refinished we installed ThermalDry radiant vapor barrier along the foundation walls, acting as both a vapor barrier and a thermal break

Re-finishing the Space

Our finishing crew then installed paint ready dry wall and will reinstall the carpeting that is still savable.
