Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Gutter Downspouts Extension - Milwaukie, OR
The owner of this property had been experiencing flooding in their basement during rainy seasons due to their downspouts not properly pushing the rainwater away from the homes foundation. This causes the rainwater to puddle up and seep down through the basement walls. They contacted John's Waterproofing after years of struggling with this issue and decided they wanted to do a basement waterproofing, along with extending their gutter downspouts. By doing this extension it will help prevent water from pooling around the foundation and will redirect the water away from the home. We install a drainage system using WaterGuard along the interior perimeter of the basement that connects to a TripleSafe sump pump. This three-pump system is designed to be able to safely push gallons of water away from the home each minute. The basement walls then had our CleanSpace Wall system installed and a SaniDry dehumidifier. The downspout extension is connected directly from the TripleSafe sump pump to the gutter downspouts. After this extension, the owner feels confident they won't have to worry about their basement flooding anymore and water from the gutter will safely be pushed away from the house.
