Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Prevent Leaky Basement Walls by Waterproofing - Portland, OR
This homeowner started noticing that water was seeping into their basement through their foundation walls. They were worried the water would begin to ruin everything they had stored in the basement and wanted to get the problem solved quickly. They contacted John's Waterproofing about their options and we suggested that a full basement waterproofing system would be the best option to save their basement. The first thing we needed to do was install a drainage system. This includes installing WaterGuard along the interior perimeter of the basement. This collects water and safely sends it to the sump pump. The SuperSump Plus sump pump takes that water and is able to push it out and away from the homes foundation. This offers a safe passageway for water to go through without getting into the basement and flooding. Then, we installed BrightWall. This goes directly on the existing basement walls that is a paneling made of materials that won't rot or mold. It offers the home's basement a semi-finished look while also helping keep water out. Lastly, a SaniDry XP dehumidifier was installed. This works to pull moisture out of the air and help to ensure mold won't grow. It does this by controlling the basement's environment and keeping the humidity down. Now, this homeowner gets to enjoy having a dry, healthy basement.
