Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Wet to Dry: Saving Your Basement - Salem, OR
This homeowner found that water had been seeping into their basement for a long time. Unsure of what could be done about it, they called John's Waterproofing about their options to saving the space. We suggested installing a full basement waterproof system in order to control the flow of water and ensure it will stay dry. To begin the process, we needed to install a drainage system that could offer a safe passageway for the water to go through. This involves installing WaterGuard along the interior perimeter of the basement. It is installed along the footing of the basement so that it won't clog from dirt or mud. The WaterGuard is able to collect any water that seeps in and sends it to a TripleSafe sump pump. This three-pump system is able to take all the collected water and safely push it out of the basement and away from the homes foundation. After the drainage system is installed, then we wanted to add some moisture protection along the walls. Our CleanSpace wall system is applied along the existing basement walls and is a white paneling that can help to guide any moisture down below to the drainage system. The final step is installing a SaniDry Dehumidifier to ensure the excess moisture in the air is addressed. Once this process is completed, the homeowner won't have to worry about a wet basement and it will stay dry and healthy.
