Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Finishing the Basement and Keeping it Dry - Neotsu, OR
This home had water in their basement. To utilize the space they already had, they wanted to transform the wet basement into two bedrooms and a bathroom. To protect this investment, they knew a waterproofing system would be needed, so they contacted John's Waterproofing. We did a full inspection and then helped them line up a solution. We installed a full interior perimeter drain system with our WaterGuard. Water all channels to the lowest point where a TripleSafe sump pump is then installed, this pumps the water safely away from the homes foundations. Along the walls we installed our ThermalDry Radiant vapor barrier, this material is made to be finished over. Then to finish we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to keep the moisture in the air at a healthy level. We installed their system in 2010 and each year since we have been out for their annual service visit.
