Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Waterproofing a Nasty Wet Crawlspace - Salem, OR
This homes crawlspace had standing water, falling fiberglass insulation, and rotting beams. To fix the problem we did a full dry out. Once able to enter the space, we pulled out the insulation and old vapor barrier. We then replaced five wooden beams with SmartJacks since their rot issue was unsafe. Next we installed a drainage system, a SuperSump pump, and a new 6 Mil vapor barrier.
Standing Water Floods the Crawlspace
Water had flooded over the old vapor barrier. The water weight is causing the old fiberglass insulation to fall.
New 6 Mil Vapor Barrier
Our 6 Mil vapor barrier is anchored along the rim joist so no water can creep in from the foundation walls.
TripleSafe sump pump
We installed a TripleSafe pump to collect water from the new drain system and pushes all collected water safely out and away from the homes foundation.
