Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Mold Build up by Fiberglass Insulation - Albany, OR
Fiberglass insulation is not made to last in a Crawlspace. The often high humidity levels, as well as the moisture that enters this space from the dirt floor causes the fiberglass to grow mold. This mold then can easily move the the wooden portions of your homes foundation which can cause big issues for the home itself. This home had such issue, and to address it we pulled out all of the old fiberglass, applied Mold X2 as necessary, and then did a full crawlspace encapsulation.
