Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Water Overflowing into Garage - Portland, OR
This homeowner called for a free inspection. They had a drain system and sump pump installed a few years back in front of their garage. However, if a sudden rain hit, or heavy rains occurred, it would overflow the drain and pump, flooding the garage. Upon inspection it was found that the installed system was made to only handle a minor amount of water, and so we updated it to withstand the water that the home actually sees.
Before - Older System
This system would overflow when heavy rains or downpours occur. The driveway slope directed the water directly into the garage.
New Sump Pump
The new sump system is made to withstand the heavy rains and downpours that occur.
New System
The system will now collect the water and safely grade it to the sump pump to keep water out of the garage.
