Before being sold, this homes inspection reported that the crawlspace needed repairs. The fiberglass insulation was doing nothing for the home and the old vapor barrier was in disrepair. We sent out a design specialist who showed the usual quote for a pipe, pump, and plastic. The buyers wanted their home to be protected in the long run, so they ended up offering to cover the additional cost to upgrade from the basic to a full encapsulation.
