Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Flooding Crawl Space Worries Homeowners - Rockaway Beach, OR
This home had excessive flooding. They had installed a drainage system along the backside of their home to try to help their yard, but the water only then pooled heavily in their crawl space. They called up John's Waterproofing to get a free inspection and see how bad the water damage was. Upon inspection we found extensive water damage to the homes wooden posts, and needed to replace these with SmartJacks, installed a full drainage system and sump pump in the area. A new 6 Mil vapor barrier was also installed.

The wooden posts along the left hand side were rotting. The homeowners tried to add additional support with boards and concrete blocks, but this doesn't solve the homes foundation issues
SmartJacks
Rotted posts were replaced with SmartJacks, and supplemental SmartJacks were installed as well
Sump Pump
We laid in a full drainage system with a TripleSafe sump pump to collect groundwater and send it safely away from the homes foundation.
