SETTING YOUR HOME UP FOR SUCCESS

ELECTRICAL REQUIEMENTS FOR A WATERPROOFING SYSTEM

Since 1974 we have been dedicated to installing the best products and ensuring our employees are provided top-notch installation training. One of the most important steps in any waterproofing system is the sump pump. This is the product that is dedicated to pushing groundwater safely away from the homes foundation. Depending on a homes needs, we carry several sump pump models to provide different levels of protection, from our compact SmartSump to our top of the line TripleSafe Sump System. However, no matter which sump pump is needed, one thing they all have in common, they need power.

Even if your crawlspace or basement has electrical outlets already installed, these often do not provide adequate amp requirements for a pump system to work without error. If the system is overloaded, it can flip the outlets breaker, we have a back-up battery that can be installed should a power failure occur, but this is not a long term solution. Ideally, every sump pump and dehumidifier should have their own outlet, with a set breaker that is installed to meet the systems needs.
