When water permeates the air, it will get absorbed into what is around it. In this case, into the old fiberglass insulation. From there the weight of the water will pull the insulation down in either strips or in globs. To insulate a crawl space properly, our encapsulation process uses TerraBlock over the dirt floor and spray foam along the foundation walls. This provides a long lasting insulation that is not damaged by water.
This crawlspace was covered in mold and water. The CleanSpace encapsulation system along with a sanidry dehumidifier fixed that problem! Now the crawlspace is dry and the air that they breathe is much cleaner and healthier!
This crawlspace had water flooding and mold present with falling insulation. To remedy this issue, the homeowners opted for a full crawlspace encapsulation to keep this home dry and healthy.
Pooling water in the crawlspace is a clear sign that water repairs are needed. This homeowner took one glance under their home after a rain storm and knew they needed professional help. To address their homes water issues we did a full encapsulation.
The homeowners just had their vapor barrier replaced by another company, however, their old insulation was never addressed. They had hoped changing the barrier would eliminate the moldy smell under their home, however, it didn't. The mold was festering under the old insulation. To help we removed all of the old insulation, brought in a mold remediation company, and then fully encased the crawlspace.
