Customer called that they have a finished basement that seemed sealed well but had water pouring down one side. We installed our patented WaterGuard system and a super sump. We demoed a whole wall and installed ThermalDry wall with Everlast Wall.
These homeowners wanted to get a water problem resolved in their basement and also upgrade their flooring. Our crews went out and installed our WaterGuard system that goes along the basement wall and is unseen after the product is put in place. The homeowners picked out our ThermalDry Elite basement flooring that is made of an inorganic material that cannot warp or rot away. It also works along with our WaterGuard system for complete protection. The homeowners were in love with the new updated look the flooring gave their basement. They now can decorate any way they want and not have to worry about water damage.
The couple had had their crawl space encapsulated back in 2008. So they called to have it checked due to hearing weird noises. Michael, our service tech found that the Sump Pump was full of mud, and sediments were lodged in the pipes preventing the water to be discharged out of the crawl space causing slight flooding of the pump. Giving us a perfect example of why yearly check-ups are recommended.
The customer had a vapor barrier previously installed, and was compromised with water and mold. Along with the fiberglass insulation falling apart, causing a very unhealthy crawl space. And lowering the air quality for the home and the family that lived there.
Here is a larger crawlspace that was unusable due to moisture and mold. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier unit was installed with the CLeanSpace vapor barrier resulting in a clean, moisture free space that this customer can now use for years to come.
