In an attempt to lower energy costs it can be normal to insulate a ducting system in a Crawlspace. However, fiberglass insulation can hold water, leading to mold, and attracts critters who like to use it for bedding. This ducting's insulation was nasty. To ensure their crawlspace was waterproofed and insulated the proper way we removed the damaged fiberglass, and insulated the space with our crawlspace encapsulation. 

This homeowner called up John's Waterproofing. They had been replacing fiberglass and a simple vapor barrier for years and years. As they were getting older, they decided they wanted something that provided a long term solution that would help their home be dry and healthy. They opted for an encapsulation system and were thrilled with the transformation! 

This homes crawl space had falling fiber glass insulation and was an overall difficult space to enter. To make the space easier to crawl through, and healthier overall, the homeowners wanted to encapsulate the area. This was a very large crawlspace, having this large of space saturated in water is not a good thing. We came out to this home and installed our Cleanpace Encapsulation system, SaniDry Dehumidifier, a SmartSump sump pump and spray foamed it to transform this space into a dry usable area.

This home suffered from a lot of water damage. There were rotten wooden posts and the old fiberglass insulation was falling in piles. To fix this issue we did a full crawlspace encapsulation; UltraSump Pump, TerraBlock, CleanSpace, Spray Foam, and replaced eight of the wooden posts under the home.
