The customer called needing foundation repair due to rotting beams under the home. Some of these beams were causing sagging areas in the floor. As he was researching beam replacement, he learned about Clean Space encapsulation. After reading all the benefits, he requested a quote for that as well. Our crew went out and installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier that is a 20 mil durable plastic and antimicrobial so he will never have to worry about mold or excess humidity in his crawlspace. He can also reap the benefits of more even heating and cooling in his home and a reduced energy bill.

The customer was having work done on the foundation when the contractors noticed water damage and mold growth along the foundation walls. The crawl space was then encapsulated and had a SaniDry Sedona installed to help regulate moisture buildup in the future.
Many companies still like to use fiberglass as insulation in a crawlspace, but since it is made to exist within a six sided box, a crawlspaces environment doesn't work for it. The access to moisture and critters causes many issues. It is an inviting bedding material for some animals, and also absorbs moisture, holding it against wooden portions of the foundation, leading to mold and mildew. This homes fiberglass was falling down from moisture and had mold spores. After clearing the crawlspace, we applied mold X and did a full encapsulation to give this home insulation made to last!
