The customer called due to having puddles forming even though they had a sump pump from a different company
The customer called to have a sump pump installed along with a new vapor barrier.
The customer called due to having their crawl space being encapsulated by another company incorrectly. They had covered the entrance to the second half of the crawlspace. So we re-encapsulated and installed a SuperSump pump to filter out any intrusive water.
In this home, water had been leaking in the basement walls every time it rained. They had our inspector come out to look and explore what options they had to fix the water issues. Our crews installed our WaterGuard system which is an interior drainage system that goes along the basement wall. When finished it is unseen and drains to a sump pump to pump the water out and away from the home. Along with the WaterGuard, we installed ThermalDry Wall that helps insulate the basement by reflecting heat back in. It also works along with the drainage system and is made of inorganic materials so that it cannot mold and will protect your walls from moisture damage. The homeowner was happy with the work and was ready to move on to remodeling his basement for full functional use.
One of the things you can do is protect your foundation from the outside. We use a product called Paraseal. It is made of expandable granular bentonite that stops water from passing through it. Leaving your foundation protected from water getting in.
