Customer called for water intrusion through concrete walls
Customer called for water coming up through the floors, walls, and window seals.
Leaky basement walls were causing issues in this basement. The homeowners couldn't use the basement for storage because everything would either get wet or the moisture from the leak would make things damp and humid. Our crews installed a drainage system that we use called WaterGuard to go along the basement wall and drain into a sump pump. Since this leak was pretty extensive we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. It's a three-pump system that adjusts to the amount of water coming in. The crews also installed our BrightWall paneling that works alongside our WaterGuard system. It is a waterproof, stain resistant, and moisture barrier wall panel. It is designed specifically for basement walls. This customer was happy with the look of the basement and that they could finally have storage space.
Louise called because she knew the vapor barrier needed to be replaced in her home before she could put it on the market. Vincent wrote her out a proposal to not only change out her torn vapor barrier but also to remove the existing debris, and install a sump pump and perimeter drain to ensure Louise would not deal with water damage in the future.
This basement had been used as general storage space, with a laundry room and the homes water heater as well. The homeowner wanted to utilize the space, so they called up John's Waterproofing. After waterproofing the space with a full drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump, we installed EverLast Wall Systems along the walls. Our finishing crew installed doorways, baseboards, framing for each room, and fully finished the space with our ThermalDry Tile system and SaniDry Dehumidifier.
