Cutomer called due to water buildup during the fall
The customer was having water leaking into the basement through the walls. Which was creating mold growth along the walls? We cleaned the mold and installed BrightWall paneling to give the room a finished look. Along with WaterGuard to discharge the water out of the basement completely.
This basement was in some serious need of help and was unusable. Our team went in and installed a Water Guard XL, Super Sump sumpump and our patented Bright Wall Paneling. Customer now has a bright, dry, clean useable space.
This homeowner was experiencing leaking water in their basement. This can happen if there's cracks in the foundation walls or improper drainage was installed. It is usually the cause of too much water pressure puddling up and seeping into the basement. Once this homeowner noticed that their was a water problem, they called John's Waterproofing to get the issue solved and stop the water from flooding in. After discussing their options, they agreed to doing a basement waterproofing so they wouldn't have to worry about it happening again. Our crew first installed a drainage system, WaterGuard, along the interior perimeter of the basement. This is super important in order to control the flow of water and be able to direct it to the sump pump. Our SuperSump Plus sump pump is able to collect the water from the WaterGuard and send it safely away from the homes foundation. Because the homeowner wanted this to be a finished space, we then installed ThermalDry along the foundation walls. ThermalDry is a vapor barrier, made of waterproof material to prevent mold growth, that helps guide moisture from the walls down to the drainage system. It is shingled to the WaterGuard to ensure secure waterflow. Additionally, a SaniDry dehumidifier was installed that works to pull moisture out of the air and control the basement's environment. After the basement waterproofing process is completed, the homeowner gets to enjoy their healthy and dry basement again.
As this homes basement is prepped to be finished, the windows would need work. They had some minor leaking issues and were far to small to be used in the event of an emergency evacuation. After we had an installation crew waterproof the space, our finishing crew arrived to upgrade the window and the window well.
