Exterior Waterproofing for Crawlspace in Damascus, OR

This customer wanted to waterproof from the outside of their home. Our crew installed Paraseal to the outside foundation wall of the home. It is a sheet material that is made up of bentonite and stops water from the outside of the foundation wall. Along with a new discharge line, this homeowner won't have to worry about water leaking thru the foundation wall.

Untapped space in Basement - Damascus, OR

There is nothing more frustrating for a homeowner than having a basement that you can't use. This homeowner called us because their basement had some water damage to the walls and they needed more space. Our crew installed a basement wall solution called EverLastWall paneling system. It is made to not be damaged by moisture and is easy to clean. It works along with our basement waterproofing system WaterGuard. The neautral-color leaves a great blank canvas for any style. This homeowner was so happy that they could finally use their basement and love the new look.

Adding the Correct Insulation - Damascus, OR

This home had been replacing fiberglass insulation and a 6 mil vapor barrier every few years since they had bought their home. Sick of having to do this, the homeowners were ready for a solution that can truly last. After researching online, they reached out to John's Waterproofing. To have the home issues solved, we installed a full crawlspace encapsulation. To begin we installed a drainage system with a TripleSafe Sump pump to safely discharge the gathered water. Following this, we installed the correct insulation for this space; TerraBlock over the dirt floor and Spray Foam along the foundation walls. We also installed CleanSpace, a 20 Mil woven vapor barrier which is full sealed into place. The vents were fully sealed and a SaniDry dehumidifier was installed.

High Humidity Levels Leave Crawlspace in Disrepair - Damascus, OR

This homeowner called to request some crawlspace repairs. They knew some odd odors were wafting up from under the home, but couldn't get under the home to address the problem themselves. Our design specialist discovered falling fiberglass insulation, mud over the old vapor barrier, and mildew growing. To make the space dry and healthy we installed a full encapsulation.

Moisture, Slugs, and Rodents - Damascus, OR

This homes crawl space had an issue with moisture. They also frequently found slugs and saw evidence of rodents in this space. Looking to keep the area clear of critters and potential water problems, they wanted to get an encapsulation.
