Vertical crack on basement wall

Challenge

Nestled in the back of a beautifully finished basement lay a cracked wet cement wall now breeding mold. The home owner had built a lovely finished basement around this eye sore but enclosing the space as a narrow storage room. The crack did not pose a huge challenge but installing the water guard properly was providing a challenge. The footing in one area of the foundation was very high making it difficult for the team to install our traditional system. 

Solution

In order to work past this our team prepped and dug out the area as we traditionally would. In the 12 inch long section with the high footing our team blended our two types of systems utilizing a shorter more flexible piping that would tie into the waterguard on either side it. Once completed our team finished the remaining drains before installing our gorgeous Bright Wall Panels, giving the area a completed look worthy of the rest of the basement.
