Wet basement in West Salem

Challenge

This homeowner had water seeping into his attached shed and along the floor making its way to the homeowners finished basement. Over time, this water began to erode and waste away the concrete along his porch. This homeowner called us and our inspector knew exactly what to do.

Solution

Our crew installed an interior drainage system in the attached shed, a trench drain along the covered porch and an interior drain along the perimeter of the basement. As soon as the sump pump was in the ground and turned on it immediately filled to the top with ground water. After the drainage systems were installed our crew put up ThermaDry wall insulation to ensure a warm dry space after the finish walls are put up.
