This Home owner was wanting to finish the basement to make extra room for their family and four legged friends. They knew that it needed to get waterproofed first to help protect this investment, so they called John's Waterproofing! When our inspector came out to the home they realized there were many areas water was coming in at. So, in addition to installing our full perimeter WaterGuard drainage system and our TripleSafe sump pump on the interior we also did a trench drain on the outside by the entrance to the basement to prevent further water intrusion from that area as well. This home owner is now all set to finish this space and get the extra room they are looking for!
Water Seepage
you can see one of the places water was coming into the basement, very close to the homeowners stuff! anymore water and it could have destroyed it.
Failed Drain
You can see there was a drain in place, but you can also see where the water has been collecting! this drain just wasn't doing its job.
Sump pump
This is what the homeowner had in place of a sump pump. It just wasn't raking out the water like he had hoped. So we installed our top of line TripleSafe sump pump in it's place.
