Finished Basement
This finished basement had water leaking into it. They had to tear up everything to fix the issue.
Unfortunate Problem
This is why you should always waterproof your basement before finishing it. That way if water ever does become an issue you wont have to tear up all the money and hard work you put into the basement.
Waterguard Install
Waterguard laid in the interior trench dug out in the basement.
Install
Once the waterguard is in place, cement is poured over the top of it.
Install
The cement is then smoothed out, leaving a nice even finish.
Waterguard
The waterguard has cement laid back over the top of it making it barely noticeable and ready to have flooring laid over it!
Finished Install
The Inspection port is the only part of the system you really see. This makes it so your system is easily accessible for cleaning and servicing.
