Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Moisture and rodents in the Crawlspace - Vancouver, WA
Emma and Larry had a family of rodents wreck their crawl space. So, after the rodent family moved out they gave John's Waterproofing a call to see what the best options were for fixing the crawl space and preventing this from happening again. Daniel gave them an estimate to have a full encapsulation done, sealing off all of the vents, isolating the support posts, and putting in new insulation.
This is a great way to have your crawl space taken care of so that it stays, clean, dry, rodent, and moisture-free. The process includes removing all of the debris, insulation, and old materials. The crawl space was then dried out with a dehumidifier, sump pumps were installed, there was some duct work done and then the vapor barrier was put in. Spray Foam was applied for insulation which is perfect for stopping air and rodent infiltration.
