Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Damp Crawlspace in Silverton, OR

Jim had a damp crawl space that had tears in the vapor barrier. He was interested in making the crawl space waterproofed so he gave us a call here at John's Waterproofing. Vinny went out, did an inspection, and went over all of the benefits of crawl space encapsulation. Jim thought this sounded like a good fit for him and in no time at all our crews were out to his home to get started. The encapsulation process for Jim's crawl space consisted of cleaning out the space and removing all of the old insulation. A dehumidifier was installed to keep the moisture out of the air and then a new sump pump system was put in. The CleanSapce vapor barrier was put in, spray foam insulation, and a new vent cover.  Jim now has a completely waterproofed crawl space that will run efficiently and keep his crawl space dry for a very long time.
