Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Broken Pump with moisture damage in Crawl Space, Tigard, OR
Tony had an old broken sump pump and knew there was water underneath his home. He called and set up an appointment for Jacob to come out and evaluate the situation. Jacob did find there was water in the crawl space, the sump pump was not working at all and there was evidence of moisture damage in the insulation. He suggested having Lupe come out and encapsulate the crawlspace and Tony agreed this sounded like a good option for him.
Lupe took his crew of waterproofers and got started on the crawl space work. This included cleaning out all of the old materials, drying the space out with a dehumidifier, installing an energy-efficient sump pump, a new vapor barrier, and then Fernando came out and put in spray foam insulation. All of these components working together to keep Tony's crawl space dry, running efficiently, and healthy for years and years.
