Crawlspace insulation and encapsulation in Portland Oregon

Challenge

When we went in for this inspection evidence of moisture was overwhelming. Not only was the ground floor of the crawlspace damp and dark with moisture but the wood of the floor above and supporting beams were beginning to warp and splinter from the humidity and water evaporating from the ground up into the first floor of the home. Our team had to work around several pipes and posts to not only seal this space but inslate it as well to prevent any further damage to the home. 

Solution

Our team lifted posts in order to place our CleanSpace under. We installed our Silverglo insulation along the walls and cut them to fit around existing pipes in the home. We ensured vents were sealed and installed proper drainage to prevent the occurence and possibility of any more moisture damage to the home in the future.
