Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Waterproofing to Protect Home from Water Issues - Silverton, OR
Water issues were happening under this home, the homeowners wanted to protect their home from water issues, so they searched online for a long term solution. They were pleased to see that John's Waterproofing was located nearby, and then started noticing our trucks pass their home near everyday. They called up John's and scheduled their homes inspection. Due to the large size of their homes footprint, they knew it would take some work and time to get the job done right.
To begin our crew installed a Turtl exterior crawlspace entrance. We then pulled out the old and damaged insulation and mud caked vapor barrier. This involved crawling over poured dividers and weaving through a maze of spaces to the three separate crawlspace sections under this home. We then dug trenches throughout the space to lay in a three inch perforated pipe system, three separate TripleSafe sump pumps, sealed the vents, replaced 24 rotting wooden posts with SmartJacks, TerraBlock insulation, CleanSpace vapor Barrier, Spray Foam, and a SaniDry dehumidifier. This large protect took eight days to complete and is now fully dry and healthy!
