Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawlspace Issues in Hillsboro, OR

This homes crawlspace had numerous water issues going on under their home. To begin working towards a fully dry and healthy space, this homeowner decided to begin waterproofing in steps. This initial step included a fully cleaned out crawlspace, and mold X2 as needed. We then installed a drain system and TripleSafe sump pump with a 6 Mil vapor barrier. Down the road this will be upgraded and replaced with the rest of an encapsulation system.

The crawlspace was in really unhealthy conditions and all the air in this space is getting sucked up into the living spaces above

Damp and Musty

Damp spaces on the old vapor barrier, which was all out of place, and the insulation had mold and mildew

Our crew cleared the space and rid it of any of the issues, without a full encapsulation, mold will show up again, so this will need to be monitored and maintained

Sump System

To ensure water stays under the vapor barrier the drainage system collects and guides ground water to the new TripleSafe sump pump to be safely discharged away from the home
