Old Vapor Barrier
The old vapor barrier had some tears in it, with dirt and debris around
Muddy Clay
In some spots the vapor barrier had large tears where the muddy clay was evident, causing water vapors to easily enter the crawlspace
CleanSpace
Our encapsulation uses CleanSpace, a 20 Mil woven vapor barrier that is sealed into the crawlspace to keep water and moisture out!
Radon Mitigation
Since the neighborhood had recorded high levels of radon, the homeowner opted to have a radon mitigation system installed
Spray Foam
To insulate we use TerraBlock along the floor under the vapor barrier and the walls get Spray Foam, which also air seals the space
