Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Recently Purchased House Ends up Having Crawl Space Flooding - Warrenton, OR
This home had just been purchased. The inspection had noted some signs of water erosion around the wooden posts and a few other areas in the crawl space, so they knew they would need to address the area. As soon as the first big rain happened after they moved it, the crawl space was flooded. To address this issue, they called up John's Waterproofing to a free inspection and to learn all about encapsulation.
Flooding Levels Lower
The flooding had gone down by when we arrived, but the water issues were evident

Water was still pooling, emitting a musty damp odor
Sealed up Tight
The space was sealed up with CleanSpace. This goes under each wooden post, anchors to the walls, and is sealed in place with a four inch wide waterproof tape
All Water and Moisture Addressed
Encapsulation uses a drain system, sump pump, and dehumidifier to keep groundwater and moisture controlled
