Insulation Photo Album: Crawl Space Check in Rockaway Beach, OR
Some homeowners are unable to get into their crawl space to check it out. After not looking under the home for a few years, they called up John's Waterproofing to check the space out fully. During our inspection we discovered the old fiberglass in disarray. It was pulled away from the home, and critter droppings were in it. After showing this to the homeowners, they wanted a repair that would keep critters out and insulate their home and last over the years. To do this, we went over what an encapsulation was and how it would meet their homes needs.

The old fiberglass was falling away from the sub floor and droppings were scattered in it
General Crawl Space Disarray
The old vapor barrier was pushed out of place and the old fiberglass was falling down from moisture weight
Removed fiberglass and installed CleanSpace
We pulled out the old fiberglass and 6 Mil vapor barrier and began to encapsulate
Proper Crawl Space Insulation
To install a lasting insulation for the crawl space we laid in TerraBlock over the dirt floor and spray foam along the walls
