Basement Waterproof and Refinishing in Salem, OR

This home had standing water in their previously finished basement. They mopped up what they could, but it just came back. They knew the drywall was getting damaged, and the linoleum floor was water damaged. To make the space healthy and usable, they would need some professional help. They called up John's Waterproofing for a one stop help.

We pulled out all of the damaged portions of the space, waterproofed the entire basement and refinished the space. The homeowners opted to paint the new drywall themselves, and the space is once again finished, this time with the benefit of waterproofing to protect the space.

Whole Home Generator Installed in Salem, OR

This homeowner wanted their home to be ready for whatever came, and this meant getting a whole home generator installed. Since John's Waterproofing offers a one stop shop for Cummins, they were happy to get the ball rolling. Our plumbing division, electrical division, and setting up the level base for the generator was all installed by John's and the home is now set up for a power outage.

Installation of WaterGuard in Salem, OR

This homeowner had a different company come in and install a basement waterproofing system. Unfortunately, their system did not hold and this basement became overflowed with water. The homeowner wanted a solution that would control the passage of water and have it directed out of their basement. They called John's Waterproofing to discuss their options and how it would be possible. We suggested doing a full basement waterproofing system, which includes installing a WaterGuard drainage system. To install the WaterGuard, first we have to jackhammer a trench along the interior perimeter of the basement. Once that is done, then we can install our WaterGuard in the trench. It is lined with gravel in order to filter the water that comes in. It is then connected to a TripleSafe sump pump which collects all the water that the WaterGuard sends in and pushes it out and away from the homes foundation. The WaterGuard has holes on top that can even collect water that stream down the foundation walls through cracks. We put inspection ports at the top of the system so that when we come to do annual maintenance it is an easy check to see if there are any clogs or problems without having to completely dig the system up. Once the WaterGuard is fully installed, our team covers it completely with concrete to give it a discreet look. Now the basement has a drainage system installed that will collect any water that tries to seep through and send it away from the homes foundation.

Installing Waterproofing in Salem, OR

This homes basement had some water stains along the foundation walls and the owners kept all items out of this basement due to the water that would puddle. To make this space usable once again, they called up John's Waterproofing and discussed options, landing on a full waterproofing system to keep the space dry year round. We installed a WaterGuard drain system around the interior perimeter which collects and guides the water to the lowest point. Here we install our TripleSafe sump pump to then pump the water safely away from the home to a LawnScape outlet. The space will remain unfinished so the walls had a CleanSpace wall system installed. To complete the job we installed a SaniDry dehumidifier to keep the moisture in the air properly controlled.
